Just because two people can fit doesn’t mean it’s a suitable double cabin. Face-to-face seats, side-by-side seats, two-seater layouts, or even 1 user plus a cabin staff member, may be written as "double" in general terms ". Before actually placing an order, ask the supplier to write down the rated load person, the number of users allowed, the location of the staff and the internal layout.
For a 2-person luxury hyperbaric chamber, “luxury” cannot substitute for any technical specifications. Power seats, star roofs, ambient lights, larger transparent viewing areas or custom colors can improve the experience and appearance, but these configurations do not automatically demonstrate higher levels of pressure, oxygen, safety or compliance.

First confirm how the two people will use it
The double-person capacity needs to be specified in terms of specific postures and positions. In Baobang's existing product range, HE5000 Fort adopts a face-to-face multi-person seat layout. HE5000 can choose two-seat, 3-seat, bed board or bench layout; HE5000 Plus can accommodate four people and supports internal layout customization. When inquiring, do not just write "two-person hyperbaric chamber", but ask the supplier to mark the number of seats, seat direction, leg and head space, and the path when two people enter and exit at the same time in the model and configuration list.
It looks spacious on the outside, but it’s still not enough. The actual number of people available in the multi-person cabin will also be affected by the oxygen supply interface, the position of the crew in the cabin and the emergency evacuation plan, and cannot be calculated from the photos, dimensions or number of seats. If you plan to have a caregiver accompany you, it is important to confirm that the location is a rated configuration rather than adding a chair temporarily.
Separate the luxury features from the core specifications
You can divide the procurement form into two columns. The 1 column records the conditions that determine whether it can be used: complete model, normal working pressure, maximum allowable working pressure, pressure relief setting pressure, pressure unit caliber, rated number of people, oxygen supply mode, communication and emergency functions. In another column, record the experience configurations, such as electric seats, lighting, color, emblems, or the control interface.
This approach helps avoid a common misjudgment: mistaking visible comfort features for the equipment level. Taking the HE5000 series as an example, the catalog documents 2.0 ATA, medical-grade stainless steel cabins, and provides customized options such as power seats, star roofs, and ambient lights; however, the weight, size, and internal layout vary between models. The comparison still needs to correspond to the specific model and the current quotation configuration, and the series name cannot be used to replace the model-level file.
Please provide the complete pressure value
Seeing only “2.0 ATA” is not enough to make a comparison. The specification sheet shall state the normal working pressure, the maximum allowable working pressure and the set pressure of the pressure relief device, respectively, and indicate that the ATA uses absolute pressure caliber. The rated pressure or maximum pressure is not equal to the specific use pressure of a user, let alone the applicable population or use plan.
If psi appears in the quotation at the same time, the supplier is required to indicate whether it is psia or psig and give a comparative caliber consistent with ATA. The numbers at different reference zeros and different working states are sorted together, seemingly accurate, but in fact there is no comparability.
First measure the transportation and installation route
A double hard-shell cabin isn’t just something that can fit in the room. Taking catalog data as an example, HE5000 Fort has an overall size of 2270 × 1167 × 1874mm and a weight of 520kg. HE5000 is 2070 × 1616 × 1749mm and weighs 650kg. These are model specifications and should not be directly interpreted as usable internal storage, package dimensions, or the total operating weight.
The purchaser shall also check the door width, elevator, corridor, turning space and ground load separately, and then confirm the service space required for control system, gas circuit, electrical, heat dissipation, fire protection and maintenance. The entrance shall meet the requirements for clear width, clear height, threshold height, opening direction, and door swing space. A walk-in design or a wide doorway alone does not guarantee wheelchair accessibility, stretcher access, or barrier-free adaptation.
Ask clearly which complete system the quote includes
The quoted price for the cabin and the quoted price for the entire system cannot be directly compared. The list shall itemize cabins, compressors, air handling, oxygen supply or production, cooling, control, monitoring, communications, safety accessories, seats and common spare parts. Custom entrances, seats, interfaces, appearance or internal layout should also be written into the contract, not just in the renderings or sales communication.
In addition to the total price, transportation, home handling, installation, commissioning, training, maintenance, consumables and repair response must be disassembled. When the warranty starts, which parts include labor or travel, and whether spare parts can be obtained after shutdown may affect long-term use more than a certain decorative configuration.
Inspect upon arrival based on model and configuration
Check the manufacturer, brand, complete model, sub-model, serial number and contract, packing list and equipment label before acceptance. Instructions, installation manuals, maintenance materials and target market documents should also correspond to the same model and configuration, and cannot be replaced by materials of other equipment of the same brand.
Before the first manned use, the pressure, pressure relief, ventilation, air or oxygen supply, control, alarm, communication and emergency functions shall be checked according to the methods specified in the model, and the installation and test records shall be kept. When configuration discrepancies, alarms, leaks, structural damage or missing documents are found, first form a record of non-compliance and complete the closed loop. Do not skip this step because the cockpit looks comfortable and the appearance is highly complete.
Finally, remove "luxury" from the inquiry form and replace it with a measurable, documented, and acceptable field. How to realize the capacity of two people, how to get in and out of two people, what the whole system includes, whether it can be installed on site, and how to evacuate in case of abnormality, these 5 groups of questions are all answered in writing at the model level before they are suitable for price comparison.
